Descrição
An intense and very fresh aroma, perfectly reflecting the cool summer nights at altitude in the Upper Douro, marked by violets, black and red fruits characteristic of the grapes from which it originated, balanced with very subtle notes of French oak.
On the palate, the freshness, acidity, and lively tannins denote the soil and climate and suggest longevity, followed by all the aroma notes in an elegant and lingering ensemble.
Winemaking of Quinta da Pedra Escrita Biológico Tinto 2019: 100% manual harvesting into small perforated boxes. Reception on a sorting table. Destemming and crushing. Cold maceration for 48 hours. Alcoholic fermentation for 3 weeks with temperature control.
