History: With over 250 years of history, the Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, referenced since the first Pombalina demarcation in 1756, embraces the Douro over 1.5km on the north bank of Rio in a total of 120 hectares. It is with a deep respect for the historical heritage and the reputation of a large region that the Amorim family works only native castes in 85ha of vine exception wines.
