Deep ruby color. The aroma features plum and ripe cherry, accompanied by notes of dark chocolate, black pepper, nutmeg, and a touch of cinnamon. Very robust on the palate, with high tannin levels, velvety and full-bodied with a very persistent finish.
Winemaking:
The grapes are partially destemmed and crushed, followed by 3 days of cold maceration; 12 days of alcoholic fermentation without temperature control; gentle foot treading twice a day; 1 month of "cuvaison"; malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels.
