Description
Winemaking of 40 Castas XVII 17º Tinto: Producing a wine like this 40CASTAS, with 17% alcohol, reveals the most daring side and expresses the unique characteristics of the terroir. The genetic diversity and complexity of the old vines, over 40 years old, from which the grapes were carefully selected, gave rise to a wine with a strong identity, full-bodied, with an intense aroma of ripe fruit, with marked but soft tannins and a long and balanced finish. A complex but surprising wine!
Aroma: The aroma is horizontal, with a slow, velvety, and delicate approach to the nose. This open and feminine aromatic characteristic contrasts well with the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz grape varieties.
Taste: A very full-bodied wine, rich in color, where ripe fruit and spices reveal a perfect integration. The aroma of red fruits is enhanced on the palate, with a full, warm, and tender finish.
