The 2022 colheita was produced from the Aragonêz, Trincadeira, and Alicante Bouschet grape varieties. The vineyard that gives rise to these varieties is planted at Quinta da Terrugem, where clay-limestone and schist soils predominate. The vinification of Alabastro Reserva wine takes place in the new and modern winery of Quinta do Carmo in Estremoz. The harvest occurs during the month of September and uses traditional winemaking methods; the grape varieties are vinified separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with short post-fermentation macerations to preserve fruity aromas. Each grape variety ages for 6 months in wood, after which the final blend of the wine is made.
