Alice Vieira De Sousa Reserva Tinto

This Douro Red wine is produced with grapes from several vineyards of the Vieira de Sousa Family that are over 40 years old, with the most varied traditional Douro grape varieties. The grape varieties present are Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, among many others. The grapes were harvested from the vineyards manually and then transported in small boxes. After choosing the grapes at the entrance to the cellar, they were destemmed and alcoholic fermentation took place for 10 days in stainless steel vats, under temperature control. It aged for a short period in used French oak barrels. The wine was subsequently bottled in September. Alice Vieira de Sousa Red Reserva 2013 is a very smooth and elegant wine, with rich aromas of fresh fruit, floral and spice notes. In the mouth it is a balanced and fresh wine.
