Descrição
This white wine is made from Alvarinho grapes from a single plot, producing a wine that reveals the purest and most original characteristics of the grape variety. The profile of this wine is an ode to elegance and complexity.
Tasting notes:
Complex and austere nose. Nuances of wildflowers and hay along with a delicate minerality reminiscent of wet stone. Light hazelnut and vanilla notes from fermentation and barrel aging. On the palate, refreshing acidity and verticality stand out. Light smokiness with a long and elegant finish.
Winemaking:
Grapes harvested manually in small boxes and transported to the winery in a
Short processing time. Very gentle pressing of whole, destemmed grapes. Long cold clarification. Fermentation in new 400-liter French oak barrels. Aging in these barrels for 9 months with bâtonnage on total lees. 12 months of bottle aging.
