Winemaking:

Destemming and crushing; 12 hours of pre-fermentation maceration at 34ºC to maximize the work of endogenous enzymes, using selected yeasts; alcoholic fermentation for a minimum of 10 days with temperature control. Malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels.


Tasting notes and gastronomy:

Very intense and powerful yet fresh, dominated by the bergamot oil so characteristic of Touriga Nacional, balanced with notes of forest fruits such as blueberry and blackberry – and very well-integrated, high-quality wood. Extraordinarily elegant, with great volume, fresh and very well balanced. Exceptionally long, where floral and forest fruit notes return.
