2017 was the most anticipated harvest that there is memory, after a dry winter, moderate rainfall in spring and a dry and rigorous summer. However, there were no diseases and no need for treatments. The lack of water led to a very fast maturation and early harvest (mid -August). High quality grapes, intense color wines, high alcohol content and balanced acidity.
Smooth pressing of grapes and fermentation at controlled temperature. The Maria Gomes caste ages in stainless steel vats for 9 months. The remaining castes aging in second -year French oak barricades for 9 months, with weekly Battônage.
