Between the tradition of the best shadowy officers and the most twisted suspects ever lies The Grape Escape, a near-perfect crime story. It all began with a detailed plan, enough to make Arsène Lupin envious. The weapons used were touch, smell, and knife tricks. To learn the tricks, the inevitable femme fatale became the corpus delicti, even more robust and hot in the mouth, to recall another story. On D-Day, with the escape well underway, the thief delivered the stolen fruit – the forbidden grape – to the female leader. In the heat of the moment, she was betrayed and thus lost the taste of freedom. Deep down, there are no resentments, and each month she receives a bottle which she drinks slowly with the prison guard.
