Barroca da Malhada BRQA Red

Barroca da Malhada BRQA red wine is a blend of Trincadeira, Aragonês, Touriga Nacional, Baga, and Alicante Bouschet grapes, vinified using traditional methods, with manual colheita , spontaneous fermentation, and minimal cellar intervention. It ages exclusively in stainless steel tanks, preserving a fresher and more direct profile. It presents an intense color and a clean, expressive aroma, marked above all by fresh red fruit. On the palate, it is silky, balanced, and approachable, designed for uncomplicated moments where immediate pleasure and ease of drinking are key to this wine.

Barroca da Malhada is a producer of artisanal wines from the Beira Interior region, originating from a historic estate dating back to the Middle Ages and which belonged to the Viscounts of Tinalhas. With approximately five hectares of vineyards cultivated organically and using biodynamic practices, they work with schist-sandy soils of granitic origin, in one of the most mountainous territories of Portugal. The wines reflect a low-intervention approach, prioritizing authenticity, freshness, and expression of the place.
