Description
Complex, mineral aroma with subtle smokiness, stone fruits like peach and apricot, and hints of bergamot, lavender, and pomegranate. Full-bodied on the palate, very unctuous, with acidity perfectly balanced with its ripeness, long and harmonious.
Winemaking:
Grapes originating from vineyards planted on the Beira Interior plateau, at an average altitude of 750 meters, in schist and granite soils. Hand-harvested, destemmed and gently crushed, alcoholic fermentation at a temperature of around 16ºC in "perles" (used 390-liter French oak barrels), followed by aging with stirring of the fine lees until the end of February. Aging in "perles" with battonage until the end of February, followed by aging in the bottle.
