Description
A very intense, almost explosive aroma of wild berries and spices with notes of licorice in perfect balance with subtle hints of vanilla and toasted oak barrels. A sweet attack on the palate, with great volume, we feel the vibrant notes of fruit and spices that we perceived on the nose, with very full and smooth tannins, and a long, persistent finish.
Winemaking:
Hand-picked grapes. Reception with total destemming, followed by immediate crushing. Fermentation between 22-26 ºC for 7 days with gentle maceration in cement vats, using the classic "delestage" technique, 3 to 4 per fermentation. Aged for 12 months in extra-fine grain American oak barrels.
