Descrição
ORIGIN - Grapes originating from vineyards planted on the Beira Interior plateau, at an average altitude of 750 meters, mainly over 40 years old, in exclusively granitic soils with many quartz veins. Depending on the year, we select the best vineyards, whose native grape varieties are perfectly adapted to the rustic climate caused by the altitude.
VINIFICATION - Hand-picked grapes, received with total destemming and immediate crushing, with a short period of skin contact. Fermentation between 16-17ºC with indigenous yeasts.
INTERNSHIP - 4-month internship in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
5.82 TASTING NOTE - Aroma markedly mineral, red fruits, currants and pomegranates. On the palate it presents a surprising acidity with great volume, denoting the high-altitude origin of the grapes.
