Description
Very mineral and citrusy, grapefruit-like, with a slight smokiness, vibrant acidity with a structure suggesting good aging potential in the bottle. The soul of this wine lies in the unique combination of the Síria and Fonte Cal grape varieties, sourced from vines planted exclusively in granitic soils with quartz veins in the Douro River basin at an average altitude of 725 meters.
Winemaking:
Hand-picked grapes, fully destemmed and immediately crushed. Fermentation at 16-18ºC for approximately 20 days with inoculation of selected yeasts. Aged in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
