In 2011, Rui Reboredo Madeira returned to the same winery where he carried out his first harvest in 1987. Located in the small village of Vermiosa, in Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, among the highest vineyards in Portugal, his wines from the Beira Interior region are vinified and aged there.
Thus, the Beyra wine brand was born, marked by excellence and the pioneering concept of "High Altitude Wines".
In one of the most remote areas of the Iberian Peninsula, on the border between the Upper Douro and Beira Alta regions, Rui Roboredo Madeira's passion for the aromas and scents of the land that shape his character was born within his family. After years of experience and life in other parts of the world, Rui brings what he has learned back to his roots, starting his personal wine production project, always with the utmost respect for nature.
