Winemaking:
It was decided to start bottling this wine from Vinha da Mata, a unique vineyard in the Bairrada region, nestled in the heart of the Buçaco forest. It is only bottled in exceptional years. The wine ferments and ages in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Exam notes:
Vinha da Mata 2015 is vigorous and presents a complex aroma. Its black fruits, flowers, and good toasting make it fiercely structured with fine tannins. It is complex and intense with a very long finish. A wine made to last.
