Description
A fresh and fruity aroma where citrus notes predominate, well-integrated with notes from aging in wood. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with a mineral character and a long, persistent finish.
With estates in the Upper Douro region, around Almendra, Casa Agrícola Roboredo Madeira has been linked to viticulture in the region since the end of the 19th century.
Currently, the oldest vineyard dates back to 1966, and since then, new traditional grape varieties have been introduced, converted to organic production methods. With the construction of the winery in 2004, wines have been produced that reflect a passion for the land and respect for nature, wines that smell and taste of the earth, schist, rockrose, flowers, and wild berries.
