Description

Total disgust, soft crushing and thermal shock, then followed a period of cold pre-fermentation maceration in laging for about 12 to 24h. Malolactic fermentation occurred naturally, part of the wine made this fermentation in wood. In the nose, very fresh and intense where the notes of wild fruits and black cherries in balance with seductive “liquorice nuances”, the aroma being complexed by the wood notes. In the mouth it is concentrated, hot, with firm tannins and smooth texture, very intense and persistent ending showing the strength of the upper Douro wines. Contains sulfites.
