Winemaking:
These grapes are a blend of 70% old vines and 30% Encruzado, from our Quinta do Aral estate. The old vines are approximately 80 years old and combine a variety of traditional grape varieties, some of which are rare. Grape selection upon arrival at the winery. Pressing with total destemming, followed by cold maceration on the skins. Fermentation of the clean must took place in small stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures and in 400L barrels. Aging in 400L barrels and stainless steel tanks.
Exam notes:
Nose with notes of toasted oak and citrus nuances. Intense palate, with salty touches, fresh, lingering acidity.
