Château Los Boldos Amalia Grand Cru Red

Vintage / winemaking:

Selection of grapes, of less "representative" castes in the Douro region, as well as old vineyards, from portions of the Thursdays, and some winemakers who have collaborated for many years. After disillusionment, the grapes are sent to stainless vaults, where alcoholic affectation is due. A long and smooth maceration is performed, with the objective of extracting the compounds that contribute to the color, aroma and taste of wine.

Internship:

Maturation in French oak barrels and casks used over a period of about 18 months. The final lot is prepared based on the selections made during the numerous tests and analyzes performed during this period. In order to preserve the highest quality, it is only subjected to filtration before traffic jam.
