Rémy Martin VSOP Mature Cask Finish is composed of brandies sourced exclusively from the highest quality vineyards of Cognac, Grande Champagne, and Petite Champagne. These brandies offer exceptional aging potential and are known as Cognac Fine Champagne. In 1927, Rémy Martin's Cellar Master, André Renaud, created the first VSOP Fine Champagne – a truly visionary and audacious decision. This prestigious designation would be officially recognized 11 years later as an AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée – a specific growing area protected by French law). In 2012, Rémy Martin launched a new expression of its flagship VSOP for Europe: Mature Cask Finish is characterized by a one-year finishing period in small oak barrels over 20 years old.
