Description
Deep ruby in color, the nose reveals a pronounced aroma of ripe red and black fruit, with a floral touch. On the palate it is elegant, fresh, with firm tannins, but harmoniously integrated. It has a persistent and rounded finish.
Winemaking:
Grapes harvested from old vines in the Douro region, mainly from the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca varieties, destemmed, macerated and fermented under meticulous control, in order to enhance the aromas of the varieties and make the tasting experience fresh and lingering. Aged with a blend of American and French oak, which increased the complexity and aromas of vanilla and coffee on a rich spicy background.
