This wine was produced exclusively from the Touriga Nacional grape variety. The grapes were rigorously selected so they were in an excellent state of maturation. They were fermented without stems, at controlled temperatures, with regular de-staging and a subsequent period of maceration of the skins, which enhanced the fruity characteristics of this variety and provided tannin structure and balance.
The wine was aged for 8 months in French oak barrels until bottling with filtration and without fining in July 2016.
