Description
Cutes do Tua Wines arises from the cross between triglenarian vines of the Tua valley and the hand of two young winemakers Duarte da Costa and Ana de Almeida.
The passion for wine, the international experience and the Douro wine tradition united these two young people in the production of harmonious, balanced and elegant wines.
The Cortes do Tua vineyards are situated on the left bank of the Tua River, in the Upper Douro sub-region, in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region. The Cortes do Tua Cellar is located in the Upper Douro sub-region in Pombal de Ansiães, Carrazeda de Ansiães.
Cortes do Tua Tinto is composed of a blend of grapes from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Amarela grape from vines over 30 years old.
Features ruby red color. Complex and intense aroma where black fruits stand out. Acidity and very firm tannins making it a balanced, intense and velvety wine, with a long-mouthed, fruity finish.
Internship in French oak barrels for 18 months.
