The grapes, sourced from the best Touriga Franca plots at Quinta do Crasto, were transported in 22 kg crates and subjected to rigorous sorting upon arrival at the winery. After total destemming and light crushing, the must was transferred to temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation tanks. At the end of alcoholic fermentation, a gentle pressing was carried out. Quinta do Crasto Touriga Franca 2016 aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. It presents a deep violet color. On the nose, it impresses with its intensity and concentration of red fruit aromas in perfect harmony with soft floral notes. On the palate, it presents an intense start, evolving into an elegant wine with excellent volume and silky tannins, all very well integrated with notes of red fruit. It finishes in perfect balance, with extraordinary persistence and full of freshness. A wine that perfectly reflects the identity of the grape variety.
