Description
Ruby color. Aroma of ripe red fruits, with light balsamic notes of well-integrated oak. Good volume on the palate, good acidity. Persistent and fresh finish.
Winemaking:
After careful selection and harvesting, the grapes undergo total destemming and foot treading. This is followed by a slow fermentation period of at least 10 days in the lagar (traditional stone trough), in order to maximize the extraction of color and aromas, with temperature control. When malolactic fermentation is complete, approximately 25% of the wine is transferred to French and American oak barrels for 4 months.
