Description
Citrine yellow in color, with a very intense and powerful yet fresh aroma, dominated by the minerality so characteristic of Viosinho, balanced with notes of white-fleshed fruits – such as pear and plum – and very well-integrated, high-quality wood. On the palate it is extremely elegant, with great volume, fresh and balanced. Exceptionally long finish where floral and fruit notes return. Ideal with elaborate and sophisticated cuisine and intense cheeses.
Winemaking:
Destemming and pressing; static decantation, fermentation in used barrels with indigenous yeasts. Clarification of coarse lees. Aging in the same barrel for 12 months.
