Description
Granada -colored wine, almost opaque, with aromas reminiscent of black fruits, spices and smoked, and jam notes due to the period of maturation. Dense, full on the taste and well structured. The tannins are present, but are soft and well integrated. An extremely pleasant, lasting and persistent ending.
Vinification:
Vineyards over 50 years of the 'Castelão' caste and younger vineyards of the 'Touriga Nacional' castes, 'Trincadeira' and 'Cabernet Sauvignon' in Fernando Pó, Palmela. Fermentation in stainless steel vats, the controlled temperature, followed by a period of 20 days of prolonged maceration. He interned 12 months in French oak barrel socks, followed by 8 months in a bottle.
TEST NOTES:
