Description
Douro Terroir
Quinta Dona Doroteia is located in Ervedosa do Douro, on the right bank of the River Torto. In case you haven't already figured it out, Ervedosa is part of the Cima-Corgo sub-region.
A unique terroir that offers full grape ripening, with a high concentration of polyphenols and sugars, responsible for the high level of alcohol content.
The Doroteia Reserva XVII wine is produced from the classic Douro blend. Among the varieties are Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca. And it is born after aging for 9 months in French oak barrels.
The Doroteia Reserva XVII wine is incredible, powerful, with velvety tannins, ripe fruit, excellent acidity and 17% alcohol content. Thus, making it a completely gastronomic wine!
