Winemaking:
The grapes used in the production of Dow's Fine Ruby were a blend of traditional Portuguese grape varieties from the Douro Valley. Dow's Fine Ruby aged in oak barrels in our cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia for approximately 3 years, and was bottled when ready to drink.
Exam notes:
Deep and vibrant ruby color. The wine is full-bodied and has very appealing aromas of red fruits. On the palate it is fresh and youthful with flavors of raspberry and cherry, combined with a long and intense finish.
