Descrição

The Saint-Véran from Joseph Drouhin, in Burgundy, presents a luminous golden-yellow color in the glass. Swirling the glass reveals a perfect balance in this white wine, as it is neither watery, nor syrupy, nor sweet on the sides of the glass. In the glass, this white wine from Joseph Drouhin displays aromas of apple, pear, nashi pear, and quince, complemented by notes of crispness, nutty chocolate, and coarse hazelnut. This dry white wine from Joseph Drouhin is for wine lovers who can never find their wine dry enough. This light and velvety white wine presents itself on the palate in a balanced and richly multifaceted way. The finish of this mature white wine from the Burgundy wine region finally captivates with a beautiful persistence. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from soils dominated by limestone and marl.

Winemaking of Joseph Drouhin Saint-Véran: This balanced white wine from France is made from the Chardonnay variety. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Burgundy. The vines sink their roots deep into calcareous and marl soils. After harvesting, the grapes quickly reach the lagar (wine press). They are selected there and gently crushed. Then comes fermentation at a controlled temperature. Vinification is followed by aging.
