Description
This is a young, easy-drinking wine from the Alentejo region. This EA Reserva is made from grape varieties native to the Alentejo interior, resulting in a smooth and fruity wine.
Produced from Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet and Syrah grapes planted in the vineyards of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. When the grapes reach their ideal ripeness, they are harvested and transported to the winery, where the technological process begins with total destemming and light crushing.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24-27ºC. After fermentation, part of the batch is aged in French and American oak barrels. Following this aging, filtration, blending, final filtration, and bottling take place.
