A wine of great harmony, presenting an intense aroma and excellent complexity, vibrant acidity, and an extremely elegant and almost endless finish.
Winemaking:
After manual harvesting, the grapes are destemmed, crushed, and vinified in stainless steel vats or traditional granite lagares. Maceration facilitates the extraction of essential compounds that give the wine its color, aroma, and flavor. Fermentation is interrupted by the addition of grape brandy, a fundamental step in the Port wine production process. The wines are aged in the Porto Ferreira cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, in traditional oak casks. During this period, they are frequently racked, analyzed, and tasted, allowing their evolution to be monitored. After aging, the final blend is created based on a careful selection of wines, then clarified and stabilized before bottling.
