Glenglassaugh Portsoy

Portsoy is a robust single malt whisky, inspired by the coastal village that gives it its name. Aged in sherry, bourbon and port wine casks, it reveals a smoky and maritime character, with exotic notes of tropical fruit, salty licorice, unctuous soy and a touch of chocolate. After being inactive for more than two decades, the Glenglassaugh distillery rekindled its stills in 2008, and under the watchful eye of master blender Rachel Barrie, a variety of single malts patiently matured in the coastal warehouses.
