Glenrothes 12 Years

Glenrothes Single Speyside Malt Whisky comes exclusively from the Glenrothes distillery, located in the village of Rothes-on-Spey in the Speyside region. Since its inception in 1879, this distillery has become one of the finest in Speyside. The pure, soft water is drawn from the private springs of the Glen of Dounie distillery, situated nearby. During aging (in sherry and bourbon casks), the cool, humid climate of the region gives this malt whisky its complex and refined character. Years of maturation result in a splendid balance of smoothness and quality.

Glenrothes Distillery begins with the stories of two exceptional men: James Stuart, who had the initial vision to build a new distillery in the town of Rothes, and Reverend William Sharp, who raised the necessary funds to save the distillery from ruin and helped turn James Stuart's dream into reality.

With the wisdom of James Stuart and a philosophy of slow whisky production, Glenrothes continued to build its credibility in the world of whiskies, where even today it is recognized for its excellent quality.
