Thomas Reynolds, a sailor and English merchant, arrives in Portugal in 1820, attracted to the wine business and has two children, Thomas and Robert. It is from Porto that it supplies its commercial warehouse in London with Iberian products. In 1838, they were introduced into the cork industry in Spain, expanding to Portugal eventually settled in Estremoz. After the family, he left for New Zealand Robert is in Estremoz ahead of the business, which he quickly develops with the acquisition of new land and the production of quality wines, which he performed with particular commitment and passion.
