Grão Vasco Tinto is a light and elegant wine that combines the classic profile and flavor of Dão red wines with the enormous versatility for everyday consumption. Grão Vasco is a benchmark brand that offers the taste of authentic Portuguese wines.

Winemaking:
The grapes were destemmed and gently crushed, with the solids transported to stainless steel fermentation tanks by gravity, with temperature and pump-overs automatically controlled. Fermentation lasted approximately 5 days, during which the wine underwent several pump-overs to gently enhance the aromas and phenolic compounds of the skins. After this process, it was transferred to aging tanks, where the solids were pressed in pneumatic presses to gently extract the wine contained within. After malolactic fermentation, it ages in stainless steel tanks until bottling, which is done in stages to maintain the freshness of the batch, after which it ages in the bottle for varying periods before being marketed.

TASTING NOTES: Grão Vasco Tinto is a wine with a very vibrant ruby red color. Its youthful and intense aroma of strawberries, blackberries, and cherries, along with balsamic nuances and floral touches, makes it a very pleasant wine as an aperitif, but also to accompany a meal. It is a very smooth and luscious wine, with medium body, round tannins, and a harmonious and lively freshness.
