Rubens Menin is one of the greatest entrepreneurs in Brazilian history, and together with his partner Cristiano Gomes, they arrived in the Douro Valley to build a new legacy of excellence. They bought two spectacular estates on the banks of the river, next to Crasto, and also Horta Osório in Baixo Corgo. They are inaugurating one of the most modern wineries in the country and are counting on the brilliant oenology of Tiago Alves de Sousa to deliver the new classics of the Douro.
Wine:
This wine is born from a selection of plots of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Sousão grapes. Predominantly facing east and with schist and clay soils, the different plots are located at altitudes ranging from 250 to 400 meters. It spends 14 months in 225L oak barrels.
