The color, brilliant when young, is intense with shades of light green, pistachio, linden leaf, and some primrose yellow reflections. The frame is shimmering, silvery, dense, and sparkling.
A fragrant and very aromatic nose, melting, yet still somewhat reserved, soft. Fruity yellow peach, pear, Mirabelle plum, licorice wood, fresh sweet almond, acacia honey, a balanced and fresh bouquet.
On the palate, the texture is smooth, supple, tender, velvety, ample, and flavorful, with a beautiful vinosity that is also fine, refined, expressive, and aromatic, and well-proportioned by a refreshing acidity.
A beautiful Pinot Gris wine, certainly still a little young with good reserves for the future. Keeping for 3 to 6 years. You can also drink it immediately with sea or river fish such as langoustines or lobster, or with spicy sauces: lamb curry, red mullet fillet with turmeric, monkfish with saffron. Then, with a little aging, it will be a good companion for poultry, pheasants, and white meats. Veal cutlet with wild mushrooms, game terrines, duck foie gras.
