Description

Bruce Dickinson, lead singer of the British British Metal Band Iron Maiden, launched the Iron Maiden Darkest Red 2021 wine, Doc Douro. Produced by Van Zeller Wine Collection, formerly known as Baron de Vilar, Vinhas S. A., with the support of Ehrmanns Wines, the name of the wine was inspired by one of the band's latest album singles, Senjutsu, and the label is collectible. Made from Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz castes, the wine was presented this month at Prowein in Düsseldorf, Germany. Álvaro Van Zeller, executive winemaker, stressed that the project represented an honor and challenge due to international projection and the band's impact on their generation.

TEST NOTES:
This captive wine with its bright ruby ​​appearance and a convincing aroma of ripe red fruits and oak. The taste reveals layers of black blackberries and currants, supported by structured tannins that contribute to their robust character. A persistent ending.
