Description
18.5 points Grandes Escolhas Wine
Aroma of ripe fruit with a vegetal touch and truffle notes. Rich fruit and a breathy aroma with smooth tannins and a long, toasty finish.
Winemaking:
The bunches are destemmed and passed through a sorting table for optimal selection of the berries. The grapes are then crushed before being transferred to the traditional marble lagares, where they are foot-trodden. Alcoholic fermentation finishes in stainless steel tanks, followed by 12 days of post-fermentation maceration. Aged for 12 months in new half-barrels of French oak.
