Aware of its responsibility as the oldest producer of table wine and Moscatel de Setúbal in Portugal, José Maria da Fonseca adheres to a philosophy of continuous development, leading it to invest ever more in research and production support, combining the most modern techniques with traditional knowledge. A prime example is the José de Sousa Rosado Fernandes winery in Reguengos de Monsaraz, Alentejo, where the Roman tradition of fermenting in clay pots is maintained alongside the latest technology.
