Description
Located in the Alentejo region of Portugal, Quinta de Dona Maria is renowned for its 18th-century Palace, which is not only a historical landmark but has also been linked to wine production for over 150 years.
In 1988, through the new owner Júlio Bastos, the wines produced at this Quinta began to be marketed nationally and internationally, gaining recognition from the general public and wine critics.
Although the old wine cellar has been restored, expanded and modernized, the 19th-century marble wine presses, which are central to the vinification of these quality wines, have been preserved.
