Winemaking:
Hand-harvested at their peak, the grapes are destemmed, crushed, and vinified through careful maceration to extract color, tannins, and aromas from the skins, complemented by continuous pump-overs during fermentation. This process takes place in vats at a controlled temperature between 28-30ºC until the desired Baumé is reached. At this stage, grape brandy is added (fortification), resulting in a generous wine. A wine of exceptional quality, from a single colheita , bottled between the fourth and sixth year after the harvest.
Exam notes:
Intense ruby-purple color. Wonderfully lush and vibrant bouquet with jams and sweet aromas of ripe fruit. A full and enveloping mouthfeel with very rich and succulent wild berry flavors. Full-bodied and strong on the palate with a delicious and persistent finish.
