Lagavulin 2025 Special Release 12 Year Old

Lagavulin Single Malt Scotch Whisky has a longer distillation and maturation than any other classic malt. This whisky's production involves no shortcuts in the process. Made by the people of Islay, Lagavulin carries within it the attitude and philosophy of these islanders: if something is worth doing, it's only worth doing well, and without haste. In 2016, Lagavulin celebrated its 200th anniversary. The first official distillation dates back to 1816, though for several generations before that, local residents produced their own whisky. Since that first batch, many have fallen in love with its rich textures, intense flavours and smoky aromas — including the legendary whisky writer Alfred Barnard.
