Description
Medium red color. Aroma of licorice with notes of spicy fruit. Licorice with minerals on the palate. Quite a long berry finish.
Winemaking:
This wine is made from the Baga grape variety, grown in limestone soil at a location called Panasqueira, on a south-facing slope. At the end of August, a precision harvest of 70% of the grapes was carried out to produce the Baga Sparkling Wine. The second harvest (of this wine) took place at the end of September, resulting in an unusual concentration compared to other wines of the same grape variety.
