Bright and brick-colored with golden notes. Aromas of dried fruits with notes of quince jelly. In the mouth it is fresh, sweet and with notes of ripe plum jam.
Winemaking:
This Port wine was produced using the traditional method. After manual harvesting, the grapes were partially de-stemmed and crushed in a press where there is a slight maceration before alcoholic fermentation. Fermentation is interrupted by the addition of brandy at the ideal time determined by the winemaker. This results in a fortified wine that ages in oak barrels in the Douro. During its aging, it is racked and several corrections are made. This Colheita is filtered before bottling in Gaia.
