Maynard's Vintage 2019

It represents the classic Vintage style with a deep ruby color and intense garnet tones, presenting aromas of red plum and jammed fig, combined with dark chocolate and a touch of spices. In the mouth it is silky, dense, with a well-structured body, rich and complex tannins and a fruity and harmonious finish.

Winemaking:
The grapes at ideal ripeness are harvested manually and stored in a cold room for 12 hours, in order to preserve their characteristics. This is followed by partial stemming and crushing into a mill, where intense maceration takes place, before and during alcoholic fermentation with pumping for greater skin extraction. Wine brandy is added to the fermentation when the desired amount of sugar is obtained, thus creating a fortified wine. This Port wine ages in oak vats. This wine has not undergone a stabilization procedure, so a natural deposit may form in the bottle.
