Menin Maria Fernanda Vineyards Velhas Red

Maria Fernanda Vinhas Velhas red wine is born from a selection of micro-parcels of old vines from MENIN Douro Estates, where more than 50 traditional grape varieties are identified. Planted in schist soils, with an east-facing exposure and altitudes between 120 and 260 meters, these vines give rise to a wine that combines concentration, freshness and elegance. A red wine of great character, reflecting the richness and diversity of the Douro.

The passion for Portugal and the Douro Valley, on the part of Brazilian entrepreneurs Rubens Menin and Cristiano Gomes, goes back a long way. First as an almost second homeland, now as the ideal destination for a unique project that aims to strengthen the historical legacy of the Douro. In the vineyard as in winemaking, the same philosophy exists: sustainability, quality and long-term vision. Menin wines are a reflection of their terroir, complex and characterful, full of finesse and great potential.
